Why I(ndians) Voted Narendra Modi?

Narendra ModiJi assumed power of prime minister almost 8 months ago.

After eight months, I want to reflect the feelings of people who voted ModiJi instead of BJP.
Am I happy about Modi performance or Am I regretting my decision to vote Modi?
In one line, I can say I am very happy about ModiJi Performance. ModiJi is doing whatever I expected from a leader of the country. Let me list out reasons for my happiness.

1. Giving fitting reply to Pakistan whenever they are violating ceasefire. Giving freedom to army in this issue is what I expected from PM.

2. Jan Dhan Scheme. This scheme completely bowled me. This scheme shows ModiJi knows ground realities better than any other Indian politician. I know there were lot of accounts with zero balance. Let it be. This scheme comes very handy in reaching benefits to common man by eliminating  middle man interference. In school when I got Rs.75 scholarship, attender kept Rs.5 as post office charge, I has to fight with him to get that Rs.5 back. Even today, Post master cut minimum Rs.20 from old age pension. These are very silly examples. still Rs.20 is big amount of old age lady who solely depend on Pension.

3. Beti Bachavo Beti Padavo ; I was quiet unhappy over ModiJi silence on woman harassment. I wanted him to do something which lift courage in woman. In Republic day parade, by adding woman regiment from all the armies, he boosted confidence among young gals. By talking about toilets issue in schools in Independence day speech, ModiJi shown his commitment towards the betterment of woman.

4. National Festivals : ModiJi transformed national holidays like Independence day and Republic day as National Festivals in true sense. For the first time, I seen people eagerly waiting for PM speech from Red Fort. For the first time, I seen people sitting in front of TV for watching Republic Day Celebration.

5.Swachata Abhiyana : I agree India will not become Singapore in short time but it will create awareness among people when Prime Minister of India talks about. People understands the seriousness of the issue.

Last but not least Make in India project. I am expecting lot of this schemes in future.

Motivate Yourself, Proud to be an Indian

India is country where pizza reaches faster than ambulance. No work form government will not done without giving bribe(one case woman sold her kidney to get revenue documents). Most of the leaders are corrupt. Every leader project themselves as savior of the country but end up making money for themselves. Roads are worst. Trains never comes on time. People don't have safety, Anytime anyone can attack on us. Love jihad is going on. Conversion and Re-conversion is going in full zoom.India is full of problems. No future for this country. Are you all agree with me?

No you shouldn't agree with me. India is changing like never ever before. Majority of Indians are fortunate. We have democracy and mother nature is very kind to most of us. With increased number of IT Companies, Education Institutes, Industries etc, peoples with or without education getting lot of opportunity to earn. Even though luxury is far from us, prosperity is increasing day by day.

Look at other part of world
1. North Korea : More than lakhs of people died from starvation and hunger related illnessWe can't compare dying by starvation to suicides. There are more than 500 statues of Kim Il sung  across the country. Citizen has to treat him as god. If people didn't bow to his statue, it's punishable offense leads to imprisonment. Most of the book and movies are about Kim il Sung. We respect our leaders like Gandhi, Netaji but forcing someone to treat them as god is out of question in India.

2. Africa : Millions of kids lost their parents because of HIV/AIDS. 589 people still live without electricity. 75% of the poorest countries are in Africa.

3. Middle East : If we can look at recent developments in Arab countries, Story about ISIS scare us. Even though Arab countries have very rich in natural resources still peace is far from us.

Still we have lot of problems
1. Terrorism : Pakistan supported and internally grown terrorist groups are threat to Indian Security.
2. Naxalism : Naxalites having presence in more than six states of India.
3. Poverty : Income per person is still below 6000 per month and so on.
4. Women Harassment : No safety for woman both inside and out side home.( Read my article Stop violence on woman)

Now look at the Positives of being an Indian
1. Democracy
2. Freedom to media
3. Strong Judiciary( CM's are sent to jail)
4. Innovative ( Sent spacecraft to Mars in Hollywood movie cost)
5. Indians having great future in IT too( Satya Nadella is CEO of Microsoft and Sundar Pichai is virtual CEO of Google)
so on.

Let's come out of all the cynic. India is successfully standing firmly even after continuous attack by Moguls and British. Let's believe in our country and in our leader Sri. Narendra Modi. I don't know whether he will eradicate problems of India But I am sure he will put his best effort. As we all know he is very pro active and punctual. We lost honest and dynamic Lal Bahadur Shastri very early. Atal Ji didn't got long time to lead this country. Let's hope Modiji fulfill his promises.

Thank you for reading. Please share and comment your views.

Steve Jobs Biography

Steve Jobs, the man who wanted to make a dense in universe is ever lasting inspiration. At Present, Apple is most valuable company in the world. Even though Jobs confounded Apple with Wozniak, It's jobs who made Apple as most valuable company. As Steve always saying he successfully made dent in universe in his own way.

  • Steve jobs is famous for perfection and simplicity.
  • Steve always said people don't know what they want, until you show them something so he never interested in market research.
  • Jobs combination with Jonathan Ive did wonders for Apple
  • Jobs had vision for the products and he believed that software and hardware should integrated.
  • He was master mind for creating many master piece like iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad.
  • He revolutionized package of products and created unique product unboxing concept along with improving experience buying through Apple Stores .
  • He was always very good in selecting right people for getting job done except one time (John Sculley case).
  • Along with many master pieces he was master mind of another master piece i.e.Steve Jobs Biography
  • He proved that he was excellent in selecting people by selecting Walter Isaacson for writing his biography.
Steve's biography is unique and different just like Apple Products. I had very bad opinion about biographies like biography meant to glorify person. Walter and Steve, made me to change my opinion. Steve's biography contains truth. No where, Steve got glorification from the author. It's Steve wish to tell truth about him so his kids know about him. Steve biography is very detailed one. Author interviewed many people who comes in Steve life and he wrote their views along with Steve Version.

Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011(Wednesday) because of cancer. Next week, Dennis Ritchie died on same Wednesday. Many people not even heard of Dennis Ritchie the man who invented C programming language and Unix operating system. Recently I came across a question in Quora, questioner asks why Steve job death got more media coverage and sympathy than Dennis.

We can't compare two legends, I feel there is lot of difference between Steve and Dennis. Dennis Ritchie is inventor where Steve jobs is Visionary. Dennis Ritchie developed command based UNIX OS. Steve turned innovation of Graphical User Interface to reality. When Woz developed Apple I, all he wanted was to showcase in Homebrew Computer Club. Steve is the one who saw future in Apple 1 and stuck deal with Byte Shop to deliver 50 pieces for $500 in 60 days. Even Apple_II is designed by Woz. Steve Jobs concentrated on packaging, presenting and marketing of the product.

Finally If you want to know more about Apple early days, Steve's days in India and Steve return to Apple along with creation of iPod, iPhone,iTunes, consider buying a book of Steve Job's Biography.

I don't know why I started liking and loving Rahul Dravid when whole India crazy about Sachin. I was getting nervous whenever I was watching Rahul Dravid playing, especially in ODI cricket.

Does Rahul Dravid followers like him for his character outside ground or for his performance and sacrifice in ground. Rahul did everything team need starting from playing as wicket keeper to accommodate extra batsman and scarifying his 3rd position to open batting when openers not available.

Even though, Rahul got recognition as one of the best Test Batsman in world, He didn't got his due credit in ODI. Critics labelled Dravid as not fit for ODI and selectors dropped from ODI.But he proved everyone wrong by top scoring with 461 runs in the first cricket world cup(1999 WC) he played.
There are so many unknown things about Rahul, this book tries to throw light to that part. Rahul Dravid:Timeless Steel book contains articles by
  • Players who played along with Dravid in various level like Suresh Raina, Sanjay Bangar, Akash Chopra, Ed smith

Nanna Thamma Shankara : Shankar Nag Biography review

Shankar Nag is fondly called as shankaranna by Kannada people, He is one of he most memorable person in the History of Karnataka. Even today, after his death of 25 years, people get goosebumps when they hear name "Shankar Nag". Auto driver and taxi driver who born after shankar died paste his photos and stickers in their vehicle. Arguably, Shankar Nag is most famous and loved person in Karnataka.

After his death, Few biographies of Shankar nag released but "Nanna Thamma Shankara" is the only best book. Nanna Thamma Shankara book written by Ananth Nag, elder brother of Shankar Nag and most versatile actor of Indian cinema. A must read book for all Shankar Nag Fans. Ganesh Kasargodu also wrote a book about Shankar Nag but don't waste your time on reading that book.

Shankar Nag is like Che Guevara because both of them still alive in people heart even though they left earth decades back. Both of them died in thirties but the work they did takes whole life time for us to complete. Both of them tried hard to do improve mankind with out expecting any personal gain.Che Guevara born and bought up in Argentina, fought for Cuba people and died while fighting for Bolivia people. Shankar Nag born in konkani family in coastal Karnataka and bought up in Mumbai. He had tried to improve the lives of Kannada people after he came back to Bangalore.

If Shankar Nag limited his activities to acting, he would've forgotten by now.Shankar Nag is visionary, He is the one who started studio "Sanket" in Karnataka with help of his friends to bring back Kannada Film Industry to Bangalore from Chennai. He had united stunt masters and helped them in forming Stunt Master association. He is the one who convinced Dr.Rajkumar to join gokak movement to provide momentum to the movement .He is the first Indian film director to shoot underwater scene.

In childhood, Shankar Nag was very good in academic so he wanted to go abroad to pursue masters degree. But his brother Ananth Nag was forced him to accept "Gandugali" role in "Ondanondu Kaladalli" movie directed by famous Girish Karnad. Shankar Nag got National award as best actor in his debut movie for the same Gandugali role.Later Shankar Nag became famous among his fans as "Karate King". He became house hold name through movies like SP Sangliyana,Auto Raja,Nodi Swamy Navirodu Hige,CBI Shankar, Minchina oota and Geetha. He is very workaholic, He acted in around 14 movies in 1984 along with acting in drama. He acted in around 78 movies in 13 years of acting career. He was unfazed by success and love he received by people. He got National level fame for "Malgudi Days" Serial.

Nanna Thamma Shankara book reveals Shankar's all ideas in very detail because he involved his brother, writer of this book Ananth Nag in all his projects. Some of Shankaranna's Mind blowing Ideas
1. Bangalore Metro - He went abroad to study existing metro and submitted his plan to government of Karnataka
2. Children's park & Rope way near Nandhi Hills
3. Affordable homes for Middle class people - He wanted to build pivot project then he wanted to convince government to implement across Karnataka.
4. Country club for entertainment

You will feel sense of incompleteness after reading "Nanna Thamma Shankara" book. It took me long time to come out of the thought i.e. we missed a pearl.

Even though,
Shankar Nag had lot of success in commercial movies, he had directed all kinds of movies like thriller, comedy and Suspense genre. To read more about Shankar Nag films and film making skills, read wonderful blog in Jamuara by clicking on the below link.

Stop Violence against Woman. Start Respecting

Every day you will read one or two incidents of violence on women. With prosperity increasing, our ethics reducing(Indirectly Proportional). Indians always treated women with at most respect from ancient times. We believed in Yathra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra dewatah(Meaning: where a woman was worshiped, God lives there). We called every precious thing like country, river and earth as women and respected as mother. Till today, Indians literally worship mother as god.

I recently came across the Chinese guy answer in Quora about Chinese opinion on Indians. He felt odd about Indians do well in academics while being kind of lazy in Chinese Standard. According to him, the Chinese are jealous about us for acquiring all the IT jobs. Towards the close of his response, he wrote Chinese are shocked to great extent about a Delhi Gang Rape case. He wrote he didn't understand why Indians disrespect their woman.(Quora Answer Link)

This Chinese guy incident triggered me to write my points. I had assumed that rape issues affect female foreigner travels to India. I was faulty, it touches on the image of a nation not just tourism.

Let’s introspect why suddenly increase of rape cases in India. We always jump into solution without understanding the problem. First, we need to get clarity about whether a rape case increasing or reporting of rape case increasing.

If reporting of rape case increased, we can give credit to Media, Courage of Woman and trust in Judiciary. In olden day’s woman not reporting about it as much as now. I guess we can consider Indra and Ahalya case as first rape case. Even though Indra committed sin, Gautama Maharshi curse Ahalya who was innocent. In most of the case woman is the one who got punished or treated poorly then the woman may gradually stopped reporting. In some incidents, People forced rapist to marry that woman in the name of justice. How can it will be justice.

Or
Rapes are really increasing?

I like to list out probable reasons
  1. Nowadays woman wore short clothes which provoke men – Oh really, then how about three rape cases at the end of 2014 in Bangalore schools. Kid under ten year age definitely wears school uniform. They are not college student nor models. As we boys, tie clothe on hand and head, grow long hair, do different hairstyle and wear low waist jeans, its woman wish to wear whatever they like or they comfortable.
  2. As per rightists, Woman comes out of the house causing this problem –It’s a really big joke because we have seen a lot of maternal rape cases are reported. Today, women is not safe anywhere starting from home to school, school to public places.
  3. Indian youths getting married Late: This allegation makes sense to an extent because earlier days men getting married in very young age so they had a companion before the sexual urge start. Nowadays Indian youth marries an average at 25 years of age because they want to settle before getting married. This is not the lone reason, because we have seen married men involving in rape cases.
  4. Lack of Parents monitoring on their Children: Earlier days all children stayed at home till they get married. Now in many cases, children stay away from the parents to study or to earn livelihood, so the bond between parents and children is reduced. Nowadays working parents can’t give concentration on children.
  5. Media Effect: I think this is the most important reason. From the movies to serials, advertisements to cricket matches showcasing women as entertainment object. As a slow poison, this may be changed mentality of man towards woman.
  6. Exposure to Sex in early age: At last blame it on technology. With the availability of the internet and smartphones, even school kid can watch porn videos.

Solutions for preventing: In my opinion following are the solutions to prevent attack on a woman.
  1. Empathy on woman: You read it correct, its empathy not sympathy. Everyone has to understand the difficulty woman face in the present world. Today’s independent woman works from morning to evening both in office and home. Everywhere, she is prone to attack in one or another way, starting from public bus to office, office to home. We need to think about the difficulties of woman by stepping into their shoes. We need to stop causing inconvenience to woman by stopping commenting or staring.
  2.  Teaching Kids to respect woman: Parents have to teach kids to respect woman by explaining sacrifice of a woman.
  3. Ethics: Aliens are not involved in this attack. This rapists also live in this society. Its collective responsibility of society.
  4.  Self-protection: Even though we can’t change the world, we can change ourselves. We have to be careful now.
  5. Completing Rape cases trail before people forgetting about incident. Executing punishment as early as possible so it will be warning to others.
